The SICN Company located in Annecy (Haute Savoie) had sent on 30 August 2000 an excepted package containing 160 g depleted uranium in metallic form (2.4)MBq activity). The Sernam Express company (subsidiary of the SNCF railway company) carried the package. 30 days later, the consignee, the Eurisys Measures company, located in Loches (Indre-et-Loire) had not received the consignment. This incident was notified on 29 September 2000 to the French Nuclear Safety Authority.
