ERF description: On 11 November 1996 during routine radio-chemical measurement it was discovered a small leak of primary coolant in steam generator no. 2. The leak rate was above the plant technical specifications but less than full tube rupture. The reactor was shut down for inspection of the steam generator tubes. The radioactivity of the secondary coolant did not reach the safety limits. No increase of the radioactive releases from the plant stack was detected.
