REACTOR TRIP ON PHT LOW PRESSURE

Due to grid under frequency, TG tripped and reactor survived on steam dumping. Subsequently, when frequency improved, TG was reset, rolled and was about to be synchronised when reactor tripped on low PHT pressure due to disturbance in feed water flow. The disturbance was caused by cavitation of running BFP due to pegging steam pressure hunting.
BASIS FOR RATING: A-1R. The operational limits and conditions have not been exceeded and reactor tripped as per design intent. Hence level 0 is selected.
