FUEL BUNDLE LATTICE SPACING FAILURES

The Loviisa fuel bundles have ten spacing latices. The on-site examinations of spent fuel have revealed deformation and relocation of the uppermost lattice. The extent and the consequences of this failure mode are being evaluated.
